Valentine's Day and Other Peak Nights: Preparing Your Booking Page
3 February 2026 | 1 min read | By Michal
Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and New Year's Eve are some of the busiest nights of the year. They are also when a weak booking page costs the most.
Before the rush
- Announce the special menu and price on the homepage at least three weeks ahead.
- Open bookings for the night as early as possible.
- Show clearly when you are fully booked, and offer the nearest available alternative.
- Add any deposit or set-menu rules before guests reach the confirmation step.
On the night
Guests who could not book online will phone during service. A clear "fully booked" message and a waiting list option save your team time when they need it most.
Plan your peak nights online first, and the phone will stay quiet.
