Reviews on Your Website: Where Social Proof Actually Works
18 August 2026 | 1 min read | By Michal
Most restaurants have great reviews on Google. Very few use them where they matter most: on their own website, next to the booking button.
Placement beats quantity
- Show two or three short reviews close to the main booking call to action.
- Keep the reviewer's name and the source, so they read as genuine.
- Pick reviews that mention specific dishes, service or atmosphere.
- Link to your full Google profile instead of pasting dozens of quotes.
Keep it current
A review from three years ago can do more harm than good. Refresh the selection every few months so it reflects the restaurant guests will actually visit.
Trust is built at the moment of decision, so put your best proof right there.
